'''What is Barraging?''' Barraging is utilizing '''Tanks''' and '''Artillery Soldiers''' to barrage enemy defenses. You can barrage enemy artillery soldiers, tanks, anti-aircraft guns and bunkers.

First and foremost, you need to allocate your initial turns. You should build anywhere between 10-100 Infantry Training Centers to help produce troops. Next Build anywhere from 50-200 research labs (a majority of players stick to around 100 research labs). If your on the lower side (50) your research will be slower, where your research will go faster at 200. After 200 labs the rate at which your speed increases greatly diminishes.

Alright, now that you've got some infantry training centers producing troops and you've set up some research labs, its time to set some research. Click the research link and then you will be able to set your research from that page.

Here is a basic research line for barraging(I've noted what the major research is and what it does, but for more specific details on research click the following link. [[Research]]

:3. Advanced Weapons
:4. Advanced Infantry Training Centers (Increases the output of your Infantry Training Centers by 15%)
:5. Advanced Arithmetic
:6. Physics
:7. Demolitions
:8. Artillery Soldiers (Each infantry training center will produce 4 artillery soldiers per cycle. An artillery soldier can destroy tanks and air crafts, but not troops.)
:9. Advanced Construction
:10. Armored Vehicle Stations (Build tanks for your army.)
:11. Extended Recruitment Offices (Increases the number of new recruits from Infantry Training Centers by 25% (40% extra with Advanced Infantry Training Centers)
:12. Green Berets (These elite soldiers raise your troops striking strength to 125%.)
:13. Combat Negotiations
:14. Seals Team (Seals are able to go into a country and take control with out being detected with 10% militia loss. It also increases attack strength by 150%.)
:15. Banking Credentials (Banking Credentials improve your Bank knowledge and have your APR set to 1.75%.)
:16. Advanced Banking Credentials I (increases your Bank APR to 2.50%.)

Once you have your [[research]] set its time to get to work. At the start of a round (before cycle 200 or so) you will want to bust countries and assimilate them to help out your team. After this point you are at a critical juncture. There are two schools of thought at this point, you can either:
::A) Keep on busting and be a pure barrager who is there to assimilate countries and barrage countries Anti-Aircraft Guns and Bunkers, as well as players Artillery Soldiers and Tanks.
::B) Retreat back to the capital and wait for a [[jetter]] to bust a path to an enemy capital. This would be a method of combining being a [[trooper]] and a barrager. Currently this is a commonly used method of play in order to maximize the troop count of the team you are on.
